    As the founder of The Children’s Space I am excited to see this project become a reality. I have been a certified teacher in the New Jersey public school systems for nearly 20 years. During those years, I noticed that many of my students were living with inadequate mental and emotional support. They needed more than academics; they needed a listening ear.

    Lavern B. Depeine

    Lavern B. Depeine
    Lavern Depeine is a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the founder of the psychotherapy practice, Family and Parenting Matters. Lavern earned her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.  As an experienced licensed Marriage and Family Therapist she has been providing services to couples, families, children/adolescents, and individuals in private practice settings.

    Kadian Peynado
    Kadian Peynado is the founder of Epiphany Relationship and Family Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor, ACS. Kadian earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Kean University. She earned her Master's of Arts degree in Community and Agency Counseling at Kean University.
